Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

Dear NATA member,
As you may have noticed in NATA's work the last couple of years, a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion (ED&I) has been a key component of much of our work. We are committed to an exploration and reflection into how NATA can be a more responsible and responsive organization to all of our members and all of the learners we work with, as well as reaching out and making NATA more inviting and accessible to nonmembers.
- in summer 2022, NATA board approves ED&I as a strategic focus in 2022-2024
- EDI committee formed
- EDI session for all attendees about belonging at fall conference in Norfolk
- in winter 2023, EDI committee met to discuss possible professional learning opportunities around EDI, as well as a presence at the 2023 fall conference in Lincoln
